Melbourne-based health IT company Data Capture Experts (DCE) has promoted Leanne Anderson to the role of chief clinical informatics officer (CCIO).

Ms Anderson has worked with DCE, best known for its DC2Vue care management platform, for two years as an account director, following over 13 years at Bendigo Health, where she was most recently director of clinical transformation. She was previously director of cancer services.

She has worked in the health field for more than 25 years and has a Bachelor of Applied Science (medical laboratory science) and a certified health informatician Australasia (CHIA) qualification.

In addition to the new role as CCIO, Ms Anderson will take charge of clinical informatics, account management, project governance, and sales leadership.

DCE says the DC2Vue now has over 10,000 users using the platform to deliver care in a variety of healthcare facilities.
