Wanngi partners with PII Australia for private telehealth solution to help close the gap

14 April 2021
By Kate McDonald

Telehealth provider PII Australia and health management app developer Wanngi have joined forces to offer a private telehealth solution to help Aboriginal communities to make better lifestyle choices and improve their quality of life.

The partners have received private funding over three years to pilot the program in a Western Australian community and kicked off the new service just before Easter.

It is using PII Australia’s high-definition/low bandwidth video consultation solution combined with Wanngi’s health management platform, which will be used to build personal health accounts that will have symptoms, chronic health conditions, medications, and immunisations uploaded to one secure place.
