Researchers and health informatics professionals have until Thursday, July 2, to submit papers for the 19th Health Informatics Knowledge Management Conference (HIKM2026), which will focus on the trustworthy use of artificial intelligence in healthcare.
The online conference, to be held from September 8-10, is free to attend and will explore how health data, analytics and AI can be used to support evidence-based decision making while addressing issues such as governance, explainability, fairness and regulation.

- Evaluation, Monitoring, and Human-in-the-Loop Systems Health Information Systems, Implementation, and Interoperability
- Equity, Bias, Fairness, and Ethics in Health Informatics and AI
- AI Governance, Regulation, and Risk Management
- Workforce Development, Education, and Capability Building
The conference is held annually and attracts researchers and practitioners from across the Asia-Pacific region and internationally.
Accepted papers are published by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), with a publication fee applying to successful submissions.
Submissions must be original, written in English and are subject to double-blind peer review. The conference will be held online, with free attendance for delegates and continuing professional development and continuing professional education points available.
