The inaugural Future Health Expo will take place in Auckland in April 2027 connecting industry and consumers across the full health journey – from home to hospital, and back again.

Moving beyond traditional digital health events, Future Health Expo will combine a professional programme with a dedicated consumer experience, creating a single, integrated platform that reflects how healthcare is experienced in the real world.
Future Health Expo co-founder and Mandeville Limited CEO Kim Mundell said the event responds to growing pressure on health systems globally to deliver more accessible, connected and consumer-driven care.
“People are no longer passive recipients of care; they are active healthcare consumers living in a digital world,” she said. “They don’t see it as ‘digital health’ – it’s just health.”

Co-founder and general manager Kylie Williams added, “We saw a clear gap to better connect people with their own health – to empower and educate consumers, show them what’s available, and help them navigate the system with confidence.”
About the expo
Future Health Expo 2027 features:
• A two-day industry conference and trade exhibition for health sector leaders
• A dedicated consumer day on Saturday
• A start-up and innovation showcase
• Opportunities for cross-sector dialogue connecting policy, systems, technology and lived experience
The professional programme will address system-level challenges including interoperability, service delivery models, and integration across care settings.
The consumer programme will focus on prevention, practical education, and real-world tools – from managing chronic conditions to using wearables and navigating care across the system.

A programme advisory panel comprising leaders from across health, technology, research, policy and consumer sectors has been established to guide content and speaker selection.
Future Health Expo is expected to attract between 3,000 and 5,000 attendees from across Australasia, including policymakers, clinicians, researchers, technology companies and community groups.
Future Health Expo will run from April 15–17 at Auckland Showgrounds, combining a two-day industry conference and exhibition with a dedicated consumer day.
