Goto.health, the allied health appointment booking platform, today announced a strategic partnership with global fintech leader Airwallex, integrating real-time payment infrastructure across its platform.
This first-of-its-kind integration in the allied health sector enables instant payment settlement through the NPP, automatic appointment verification, and real-time analytics—expected to dramatically reduce the $247 million in annual no-show costs currently burdening Australian allied health providers.
It means Goto.health is the first Australian healthcare booking platform to deliver instant, end-to-end payment settlement, ensuring clinics receive immediate confirmation and guaranteed funds two minutes after a scheduled medical appointment has ended.
“This integration represents a fundamental shift in Allied Health practice management,” said Goto.health founder and CEO Jakomi Mathews, who shared the good news at the Digital Health Festival 2025. “Our platform now eliminates payment friction entirely—the average clinic will save 7.2 hours weekly on administration while gaining immediate access to funds. We’re delivering what practice owners have consistently requested: guaranteed payments, zero reconciliation work, zero need to pay for booking system integrations.”
The integration positions Goto.health to expand its footprint internationally, with access to over 6,500 Allied Health clinics across key global markets outside of Australia. By supporting local currency transactions, Goto.health is primed to scale its offering and monetisation model internationally.
“Clinics from New Zealand to the UK and the U.S. can now accept bookings and payments in their local currency — unlocking a truly borderless healthcare booking and payment experience,” Mr Mathews said.
