The New Zealand Ministry of Health has restarted its national Health Information Platform (nHIP) program, releasing a request for information to inform the investment case for the first round of proposed capabilities.

Work on the nHIP was suspended earlier this year to allow the ministry to focus on the COVID-19 response, with consideration of a business case by the government postponed.
