HiNZ 2016: Digital Advisory Board light on details for future eHealth strategy

The NZ Ministry of Health's new Digital Advisory Board will take a “bi-modal approach” to innovation in the sector, but board members Mike Rillstone and Murray Milner provided little other detail about its intended strategy in a presentation to the Health Informatics New Zealand (HiNZ) conference in Auckland today.

Mr Rillstone and Dr Milner told the conference that the digital health strategy would align closely with the overall NZ health strategy but unlike the very detailed strategies developed by the now-disbanded National Health IT Board, the new DAB seems to still be in its formative stages.
