Best Practice to implement NES but NZePS will wait for Premier

Practice management system vendor Best Practice (Bp) is planning to go live with New Zealand's new National Enrolment Service connection in VIPgold once final compliance testing is completed in the next three to four weeks, but will hold off rolling out NZ ePrescription Service (NZePS) capabilities until its customised Bp Premier product is ready for the NZ market.

Chief relationship officer Lorraine Pyefinch said Bp was rolling out the NES to the 20 or so sites that use VIPgold, which Bp inherited when it bought Hamilton-based Houston Medical last year.
