AIDH appoints Anja Nikolic as new CEO

APA CEO Anja Nikolic will become the new head of the Australasian Institute of Digital Health in March.

The Australasian Institute of Digital Health (AIDH) has appointed Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) head Anja Nikolic as its new CEO.

Ms Nikolic will take over from interim CEO Mark Nevin at the end of March. Mr Nevin has been acting in the role since the departure of long-time CEO Louise Schaper in July 2023.

Ms Nikolic has worked for a number of membership organisations in business development, conference/events management, product, member services and communications.

She was with the APA for nine years, including four and a half years as CEO, as well as stints in member engagement and business development. Previously, she worked with CPA Australia as general manager of professional development.

She has a bachelor’s degree in commerce, marketing and commercial law from the University of Auckland.
