The National Cyber Security Centre is inviting companies, researchers and research institutions to apply for the opportunity to exhibit at the Cyber Expo, which is taking place alongside Ireland’s EU Presidency Cyber Security Conference at the Convention Centre Dublin from 6-8 October 2026.

The Expo will showcase Ireland’s cyber security innovation, research excellence and industry capability to senior Irish and international delegates, including representatives from EU institutions, government, industry and academia. The Expo will run across three days, while the main conference itself takes place on the middle day.

Expressions of interest are invited from researchers and research institutions based in Ireland, including second level, third level and dedicated research centres. Applications are also invited from companies, open-source projects and organisations operating within Ireland’s cyber security ecosystem. EU-based companies, without a presence in Ireland, but who are contributing to EU strategic autonomy and digital sovereignty, are eligible under the companies track. 

Preference will be given to applicants who are existing clients of Enterprise Ireland or IDA Ireland, members of Cyber Ireland, funded by Research Ireland, or members of a European Cyber Security Organisation. 

In a statement, the National Cyber Security Centre said: “We are seeking a deliberate balance across the showcase, comprising start-ups, scale-ups and large established companies, predominantly Irish with selected European participants, together

with research and education, from second level initiatives through to universities and research centres.

“We would like to showcase work being done by students and researchers which aligns with the NCSC’s Research and Innovation Priorities and demonstrates the wealth of talent in Irish cyber security academia.”

Exhibits are required to be interactive and engaging rather than a conventional sales stand, and it should be able to speak to how the organisation’s service, technology or research supports European strategic autonomy or digital sovereignty, consistent with the conference themes of Security, Competitiveness and Values.

The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest is 31 July 2026. 

Researchers and research institutions should apply through the Research and Education Exhibition. The work must be currently ongoing or have been completed within the last five years.

Companies, open-source projects and organisations should apply through to the Companies and Cybersecurity Ecosystem Exhibition.
