Improving patient access and care co-ordination is the focus of Ireland’s digital health landscape. That’s outlined in the HSE’s digital health roadmap published last year. It aims to transform healthcare through digital technology, improving access, care quality, and patient experience, while aligning with national and EU digital goals. One of the plan’s key initiatives, launched in February 2025, the HSE Health App marks a significant milestone in the digitalisation of Ireland’s healthcare.
