Course Overview
This workshop introduces participants to the essentials of bioinformatics and data visualization, combining biology with computer science in a simple and approachable format. Learners explore DNA and protein sequences, biological databases, sequence alignment, protein structure prediction, omics datasets, and basic data visualization techniques. No coding or computational background is required. All tools and concepts are explained in plain language, using real biological examples and guided activities. By the end of the training, participants will understand how biological data is analyzed, stored, compared, and visualized in modern research and healthcare.
