The West Australian government has promised to publish its emergency department, outpatients and elective surgery wait lists online in easily accessible formats to help improve the transparency of information about the state's public health system.

Under a staged approach to be available from early next year, WA Health will publish an 'our performance' site to improve access to existing performance reports.
