The Victorian Agency for Health Information (VAHI) has contracted market research firm IPSOS to trial the collection of patient-reported outcomes data for cancer care.

The trial involves a patient survey using the EQ-5D survey tool that is widely used in population health and measures the patient's views on mobility, self-care, usual activities, pain/discomfort and anxiety/depression.
