Swasthya Slate device inventor Kanav Kahol to headline HITWA in Perth

The software engineer who invented the Swasthya Slate mobile device, which can perform 33 diagnostic tests in the field through an Android tablet or phone, will appear live by video conference at the annual Health Informatics Technology WA (HITWA) conference being held in Perth on November 4.

Kanav Kahol graduated with a PhD from the Arizona State University, where he was an assistant professor in the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering and an assistant professor adjunct at the Mayo Clinic, before being appointed to head the Affordable Health Technologies Division for the Public Health Foundation of India.
