The South Australian government has allocated $196.8 million over three years to complete the roll-out of the Sunrise electronic medical record and patient administration system from Allscripts in the remaining metropolitan local health networks.

Funding has also been provided to implement the state's ScriptCheckSA real-time prescription monitoring system, its statewide secure messaging system and to finish a procurement strategy for its enterprise chemotherapy prescribing system.
