Medical indemnity insurer Avant has launched an app that alerts users of its PracticeHub healthcare management platform that a practitioner’s Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) registration has lapsed.

The Ahpra Alerts app offers direct integration with Ahpra, allowing healthcare organisations to check a practitioner’s registration status, with regular alerts to help reduce compliance risk for health workers and patients.
