Practice management software vendor MedicalDirector has launched a new security solution for general practices to help them protect their IT systems and data.

MedicalDirector Shield includes six components that the company says work together to protect a practice’s IT systems, including an initial security assessment to help practices understand where and how they may be vulnerable to cyber attacks.
