Leadership masterclass for HIM professionals

As Health Information Management Week 2025 #himweek25 ends today, all eyes are on the profession’s next major event.  The national conference of the Health Information Management Association Australia (HIMAA) takes place from Wednesday October 29 to Friday October 31 at the QT Hotel in Canberra.

This week there was a focus on celebrating the contribution of the sector.

“Health Information Management professionals include three main professions – Clinical Coders, Clinical Documentation Specialists and Health Information Managers – who all make a valuable contribution to our healthcare system,” HIMAA CEO Sallyanne Wissmann said.

NATIONAL CONFERENCE

HIMAA’s national conference provides an opportunity for a deep dive into leadership development, with an extra masterclass offered by Evolve Health Digital.

The interactive class is on Wednesday October 29 from 3.30pm and aims to support career growth and leadership confidence.  One-to-one coaching sessions are included, so participants received tailored feedback.

The masterclass is designed for emerging and experienced leaders, tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities facing leaders in the healthcare sector.

James Foxall and James Carpenter, the co-founders of Evolve Health Digital, will lead the 90-minute session which is limited to 50 participants.
