Images are still safe despite promising clinical photo app folding

Clinical software vendor MedicalDirector has quashed rumours that the developers of the ImageSafe app provided on the MD Sidebar are going out of business, but Pulse+IT has confirmed that a rival app, the once-promising start-up PicSafe Medi, has closed down.

Rumours have been circulating that ImageSafe, which allows clinical photos to be archived, shared and attached to the patient file from within MedicalDirector, was about to close, potentially risking tens of thousands of clinical images stored in the system.
