Govt to try to fast-track ePrescribing during coronavirus outbreak

The federal government is promising to fast-track the roll out of electronic prescribing in the face of the coronavirus outbreak as part of a package of services to ensure medications get to patients quickly.

The government said today it will provide $25 million to fund home medicines services to enable patients to have their PBS prescriptions filled online or remotely, and have the medicines delivered to their home.
