Dedalus recorded the highest number of contracted hospital beds for the fourth consecutive year, according to the newly published Global Hospital EHR Market Share 2026 report by KLAS Research, which analyses EHR purchasing activity during 2025.
Nine healthcare organisations across Germany, France, Spain and Peru selected Dedalus solutions, making Dedalus the most selected multiregional EHR vendor by number of new contract decisions in 2025.
With 9,982 contracted beds in 2025, many associated with large public healthcare organisations, Dedalus continues to be a trusted partner for healthcare systems undertaking complex digital transformation programmes that require scale, long-term commitment and the ability to support large and complex healthcare environments.
Europe remained the company’s strongest market, with performance driven by a combination of net-new customer decisions and modernization initiatives among existing customers, including the continued adoption of Dedalus ORBIS/Care4U in France, new Dedalus ORBIS and ORBIS U deployments in Germany, and Dedalus Care in Spain.
Third-largest EHR vendor
According to the report findings, Dedalus now serves 1,637 inpatient hospitals across Europe, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Oceania. This positions Dedalus as the third-largest EHR vendor worldwide by total inpatient hospital presence, underscoring the company’s extensive international footprint and strong leadership position across Europe.

Strong in DACH region
The company continues to strengthen its position in the DACH region, where four organisations selected Dedalus ORBIS and ORBIS U in Germany. These include hospitals replacing competitive systems as well as healthcare groups extending the platform to newly acquired facilities.
In France, three public healthcare entities selected Dedalus solutions during the year, including organisations that chose ORBIS/Care4U as part of their modernisation strategies.
In addition, AP-HP, one of the largest healthcare organisations in the world, confirmed its intention to move forward with ORBIS/Care4U as part of its long-term digital transformation roadmap. In Southern Europe, a healthcare region in Spain selected Dedalus Care for its three hospitals, while in Peru a hospital chose Dedalus solutions, further expanding the company’s presence in strategically important markets.
The KLAS report also reflects ongoing portfolio and platform evolution across the business, indicating that Dedalus completed the divestment of its Enterprise Management portfolio in the Middle East and Asia during 2025 as part of its strategic focus on Europe and Latin America, while continuing to support clients in their digital transformation and modernisation initiatives.
