US EMR giant Allscripts has acquired Core Medical Solutions, the Adelaide-based software developer behind the BOSSnet clinical information system used in a number of Victorian health services and being rolled out throughout Western Australia.

Core Medical Solutions (CMS), which was founded by doctors Rohan Ward and Marc Belej in 2001, will remain based in Adelaide and will operate as an Allscripts subsidiary.
