Pharmacy dispensing software market leader Fred IT has signed a deal with Sigma Pharmaceuticals to roll out its Fred NXT cloud-based solution to Sigma's 700-strong pharmacy chain.

Fred IT, which is half-owned by the Pharmacy Guild and half by Telstra Health, will deploy Fred NXT as a fully integrated retail platform, including dispense, point-of-sale and back office functionality, over the next two years.
