The Australian government will launch a targeted text message campaign in August to remind more than a million disability support pension recipients and carer payment recipients about accessing a fourth COVID-19 vaccine dose as well as the availability of antiviral treatments.

The text message campaign will be targeted and the messages have been developed following consultation with people living with disability and their carers, the government says.
