Visionflex has announced its integration with MMEx, a web based electronic medical record and practice management platform, to streamline documentation, improve access to clinicians, and strengthen continuity of care.
Visionflex says clinicians can launch virtual consultations, capture vitals and diagnostic data, and have everything flow directly into the patient record, without leaving the platform they already use.
ISA Healthcare CEO Chris Pearson said,”Organisations across the sector are under real pressure to deliver care in more flexible ways without compromising the integrity of the clinical record.
“The integration with Visionflex allows virtual care to sit natively within the MMEx workflow, so clinicians can consult, capture, and document in one place. That’s a meaningful step forward for the teams using MMEx every day, and for the patients they’re caring for.”
The integration uses HL7 and FHIR standards, the interoperability protocols that underpin Australia’s national digital health infrastructure, to ensure all captured data is structured, transferred securely, and placed automatically into the correct location within the patient record.

This means the integration is not only clinically safe but built to align with evolving digital health funding models and compliance requirements.
The result is a single, consistent source of truth. Every consultation and diagnostic input contributes to a complete clinical picture, supporting stronger documentation, clearer visibility, and better continuity of care.
Visionflex CEO Joshua Mundey said one of the biggest barriers to virtual care adoption in clinical settings has been the perception that it adds complexity: another system to log into, another step in the documentation process.
“Our integration with MMEx directly addresses that. When virtual care is embedded in the same platform where clinicians already manage patient records, it stops being an add-on and becomes part of how care is naturally delivered.
That’s what we’re focused on at Visionflex – removing the friction so that clinicians can do what they do best, and patients get access to the care they need, wherever they are.”

Register your interest to see how clinicians can launch a secure virtual consultation directly from the MMEx patient record, capture vitals and diagnostic data in real time, and have everything uploaded automatically, without switching screens or managing separate logins.
The demonstration covers integration requirements, implementation steps, and how virtual care can be embedded into an existing service model.
