RCH looking for mobile messaging system for out of hospital staff

Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital has invited expressions of interest in providing an out-of-hospital mobile communications system for Apple and Android phones for people staffing its Hospital in the Home (RCH@Home), Paediatric Infant Perinatal Emergency Retrieval (PIPER) and mental health services and emergency management.

The idea is to use technology to reduce the number of phone calls, use dashboard displays for messages that can be aggregated by team and conversation thread, and provide location and duress alarm capabilities.
