Victoria trialling AI for ambos, emergency video calls for mental health

Ambulance Victoria will soon begin trialling the use of artificial intelligence technology that can listen in on triple zero calls to help call operators identify signs of cardiac arrest over the phone.

The Artificial Intelligence in Cardiac Arrest project is being funded by the Victorian government to the tune of $1.36 million, with the technology being developed in association with Monash University.
