MedicalDirector spruiks GPRN as Health considers alternative to BEACH

General practice software vendor MedicalDirector has put up its hand to remind everyone about the existence of its General Practice Research Network (GPRN) as the fallout from the Department of Health's decision to cease its funding for the Bettering the Evaluation and Care of Health (BEACH) study continues.

The Rural Doctors Association of Australia (RDAA) is the latest doctors' group to seek what it calls urgent clarification over the direction the government will take for primary care research beyond June 30, when federal funding for BEACH runs out.
