Defence looks to extend DeHS contract as it plans for modernisation program

The Department of Defence is considering extending the current contract it has with CSC for its Defence eHealth System (DeHS) primary care clinical system as it looks toward a larger health system modernisation program beginning in 2021.

Pulse+IT has heard from several sources that Defence was thinking of going out to market for alternatives to DeHS, which is used for primary healthcare provision for Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel stationed locally and was only rolled out in 2014 and 2015.
