Aged care software provider Leecare Solutions’ medication management system P6Med is the first aged care software on the government’s ePrescribing Register.

Leecare Group of Companies Chief Executive Officer Dr Caroline Lee said with a registration start date of August 19, P6Med is fully conformant with the Australian Digital Health Agency’s electronic national residential medication chart (eNRMC) June 2025 requirements.

P6Med is part of the Platinum6 clinical software suite, an integrated platform for care delivery management.

Dr Lee said eNRMC conformance is the only method to achieve maximum six-month medicine prescribing, connected to the eRX National Prescription Deliver Service (NPDS), which any resident selected pharmacy can access to dispense. 

“This closes the loop between prescribing, Pharmacy of Choice dispensing and administration but critically, ensures key and substantial clinical real-time information (from Platinum6) which is on the resident’s clinical profile is available to prescribers for medicine decision making.”

Activation of eNRMC functionality means Leecare aged care medication management systems are electronic and inter-connected with critical clinical information and pharmacy systems to mitigate data discrepancy between the prescribing, dispensing and administration process.
