The 18th Health Informatics Knowledge Management Conference (HIKM) takes place in a fully online format on September 16 and 17, 2025.

The deadline for call for papers has passed and HIKM is now seeking tutorial proposals to be received by August 18.

The deadline for poster submissions is August 4. Posters will be displayed on the conference website and gain international visibility.

HIKM is a fully “online by design” event, ensuring it is accessible to the widest range of new and established researchers.

Organisers say the recent advances in AI and technologies raise concerns how healthcare, health information, knowledge management and society in general will be affected.

“Interoperability remains a big concern as well, which has thus far, placed severe limitations on the adoption of technology into clinical practice.”

“At HIKM 2025, we will explore, review and assess these changes and their effects on clinical decisions, trust, openness and the sustainability of healthcare and society”.
