ADHA sets out on My Health Record API gateway replacement

The Australian Digital Health Agency has issued a request for tender to replace the existing Oracle application programming interface (API) gateway with a new Health API Gateway to provide services for the My Health Record and in future for other national digital health systems.

The RFT is the first tranche in the modernisation of the national digital health infrastructure under a plan known as the National Infrastructure Modernisation Program (NIM)) and will see the end of the current contract with Accenture as the national infrastructure operator (NIO).
