Core Schedule adds “in isolation” feature for coronavirus rostering

Rostering solution Core Schedule has introduced a new feature that allows staff to be tagged as “not available – in isolation” so managers can see who is able to work during the coronavirus pandemic.

Core Schedule is a hospital staff rostering program developed for NZ emergency departments that is also widely used in Australian hospitals and in the US.

The new feature has been added following the case of North Shore Hospital in Auckland, where more than 50 staff were put into a 14-day isolation period after being exposed to a patient with coronavirus.
